Hi Guys,

Sorry this has taken a while but we just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of those that helped make our wedding on Thursday November 13th the most amazing day of our lives.

You were all fantastic, everything from greeting and checking in our guests to helping the both of us with our last minute nerves, you made sure that everyone was in the right place at the right time and that everything ran smoothly. You truly are professionals and all the experience that you have certainly shows.

Every one of our guests has commented on the big day and they all enjoyed their stay very much and said that it was the most relaxed wedding they have ever attended, as everything was taken care of and nothing was too much trouble for you guys to help us with. All of you were polite, kind, friendly and knowledgeable which all went towards making our day truly unforgettable.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, hope to come and stay for our anniversary maybe?

To Comlongon Castle Wedding Co-ordination Team,

Simon and I would like to say a massive thank you to all for making our Wedding such a special day. It was certainly a day which ourselves and all our family and guests will remember for years to come.

We would like to give special thanks to our wedding co-ordinator for the day, Lisa, and also to Alex, our master of ceremonies. Everything about the day was fantastic. Even the pouring rain and howling wind outside could not spoil it. The weather even decided to behave itself in the evening and we managed to get our firework display after all.

The food was of exceptional quality, especially the desserts- I got a little taste of them all! The Ceilidh band was amazing. All of our guests had such a great time and are still talking about it 2 months later. I was really pleased with the way they arranged the evening`s entertainment. It was great to have a break between the dances. Especially considering the majority of our guests weren`t Scottish and had never done any of them before. I think they appreciated the break!

We can honestly say that there was not one element of the day which we were disappointed with. We could not have asked for a more fantastic setting for our wedding. Once again, thank you so much for everything. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year!

Kind regards

Simon and Kerry Kirman

Dear Comlongon castle

I am writing to say a huge and heart-felt thank you to you all for making our wedding day such a fantastic and wonderful day, we cannot thank you enough for everything you did to make our day such a memorable one- our guests are still talking about it to this day.

The castle and hotel are truly magnificant, there is a lovely atmosphere and a warmth about the whole place, the grounds are so peaceful and the castle itself exudes majesty and history.

But the best thing about the whole venue and the cherry on the impressive cake is the staff, who are all brilliant. From the moment we stumbled through the door the night before, to the moment we left on Sunday slightly shell shocked (!)- we were all treated like royalty. Everyone was warm, very friendly, helpful, professional and nothing was too much trouble, even when the Bride was shuffling around with pneumonia! Thanks to everyone at the castle, the whole weekend glided along seemlessly and this is certainly testament to everyone who was involved in our wedding weekend.

Thank you so much to Ann, Lisa, Denise, Rosemary and Moira on reception for the warmest of welcomes and for their endless help, patience, co ordination and hot chocolate! As `front line troops` they were all fantastic and certainly hepled calm any nerves

Thank you very much to the Chefs George, Kenny and Steve- the food was absolutely delicious and everyone said how much they enjoyed every single meal during the weekend as well as the wonderful wedding banquet that we were all treated to. Steve and I must ask what haggis you use, it was lovely!

A big thank you to Emma, Carol, Peter and Ashley who waitered for us with such finesse and endless patience(!), their service was smooth and done with a smile and we hope that the young lady who doesn`t like pigs has recovered from the hog roast!

Thank you to Daniel and Emma as Banquet Managers they were fantastic and ensured that everything went smoothly and without a single hitch, luckily no one made a bolt for freedom just before the speeches so Daniel and Emma were not called upon to rugby tackle any fleeing guests!

Another big thank you must go to Anita and her housekeeping team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and ensured that we all had immaculate rooms and wanted for absolutely nothing, their efforts were appreciated and I hope we didn`t leave the Murray Suite too much like a bridal bombsite- sorry.

Thank you so much to Ali and Ewan for running such a good bar and for keeping us well watered throughout, they were not only friendly and efficient but kindly laughed at even the poorest of jokes told to them by slightly merry guests!

Please also pass on our sincerest thanks to Lindsay the piper, who did a truly wonderful job in piping us around to some fantastic battle ballads!

Please also pass on our thanks to the hog roast team as well, the pork was simply stunning and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal- including the vegetarian!

We really are grateful to every single one of you for making our wedding so memorable, as mentioned earlier our guests are still talking about it today and everyone said it was the best wedding they`d ever been to. We even had some ladies complaining to us because they could not see how they could possibly follow our wedding with their own- of course, we recommended you! And the perfect end to the perfect day was when two of our guests got engaged on the evening of our wedding day, how romantic can you get?

Please make sure your owner and boss gets to see this letter as we want everyone to know just how fantastic everything and everyone was. With this in mind, we have also had a link to Comlongon Castle on Facebook for a while now and have written a review on TripAdvisor entitled "Wow" which we feel sums up things rather nicely. We really can`t wait to visit you again and hope that there are chances for old married couples to return and relive their wedding wonders.

We are sorry for the delay in getting our thanks to you, I was quite ill for sometime with the pneumonia but am pleased to say that I am now recovering nicely- just in time for Christmas. Thank you for your Christmas card, it was a lovely surprise and will go into our guest book as a festive full stop to our wedding collection.

We hope this finds you all well and wish you a wonderful Christmas and a very merry New Year, thank you so much again and we wish you a very successful 2009.

 Kind regards

Kirstean and Steve

Dear all at Comlongon Castle

Mike and I would like to thank you so much for giving us the most amazing wedding day.

From the word go we were made to feel really special.

The rooms were beautiful, the gardens gorgeous, the cows made a really good impact on our southern guests. The ceremony in the Great Hall was magical and Lindsay and Stan piping us was terrific.

Alex and Lisa saw that the evening went smoothly.

I would like to thank the band who got everyone up dancing after the fabulous meal which people are still discussing.

I`d also like to thank the Lady behind the bar who saw to everyone`s needs and was a pleasure to meet.

Considering that you make these weddings happen sometimes twice a day, you would never know it. Your professionalism and dedication to making every day special shows how good you all are at Comlongon.

We wish you a very merry christmas and a fantastic `09.

 Thanks again,

Amanda and Mike Hutchinson XX

To all the staff at Comlongon Castle.

On 24th November, we got married at Comlongon Castle and would like to thank you all for all your help. Your organisation, friendliness, food, everything about the day, was absolutely excellent and outstanding. All our guests have commented also that your venue was the best they had ever been to for a wedding as the staff were so helpful.

We couldn`t have asked for more. Thank you very much for making our day so special.

Hi to you all,

Jim and I would like to thank you all so much for our wonderful wedding stay with you on Sunday 30th November. The Castle looked stunning with all the decorations in place and all your staff were so very helpful to us. From the minute we arrived the day just went to plan. The bottom keep where we had our Registrar wedding was so romantic and intimate with all the candles it just made it so special for Jim and I. Our superb meal in your stunning dining room with the tables all decorated was just wonderful, and last but not least the icing on the cake was the Celtic Handfast Ceremony in the Great Hall performed by Dave the Clan Chief and Stan the Piper was certainly a very special occasion and something so different to remember for the rest of our lives. Finishing the night with a bang was the magnificant display of fireworks. The weather on this day was cold with a covering of frost and has made our pictures look superb.

I would like to thank Phil so much for the enormous detail and effort he takes into making his Castle venue that is so special no one could fail to love it.

 Thank you so very much

 Love Fiona and Jim

5th October 2008

Dear Sir,

On the weekend of the 15th to the 17th August 2008, we had the great pleasure of being guests at your castle for our wedding.

We felt we had to let you know that the whole weekend was a great success, which far exceeded our expectations. Your staff were totally professional from the time we first contacted you to enquire about booking our wedding with yourselves, to the time we booked out on the Sunday morning. However, more importantly, your staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the weekend, always ensuring that the needs of all our guests were met and that everything ran smoothly.

A number of our guests have commented that although you cater for in excess of 300 weddings per annum, the service you provided made us feel that our wedding was special and unique.

The choice, standard and preperation of the food was exceptional and the way the dining area was prepared for both the Lairds banquet and the Wedding breakfast was intimate and ensured that everyone was able to feel a part of the party.

The decoration of the venues for both the Civil ceremony and the Celtic blessing were stunning and very atmoshperic. Also the grounds of the castle were so beautiful and well kept, providing a perfect setting for many wonderful wedding photographs.

We chose to have live entertainment on both evenings and the smaller acoustic band on the Friday night was a lovely way to settle in and allow our guests to relax and get to know each other. The range of music was excellent and the boys had an excellent repartee with the guests. The range of music on the Saturday night was also excellent and the Scottish dancing was fast and furious and thoroughly enjoyed  by all.

The indoor shooting on the Friday night was a great hit with our guests and something you certainly don`t get a chance to do at most weddings!

Small touches, such as the piper who was very friendly and helpful in suggesting locations for certain photographs added to the unique feel of the wedding. Also we would recommend the Celtic ceremony to anybody, as it was a totally informal and enjoyable experience and many of the guests commented that this was a far more meaningful celebration than any religious ceremony that they had been to. Dave made us and our guests feel totally at ease and certainly looked the part!

Although we are obviously biased, we feel that this was an amazing wedding weekend and are so pleased that we chose Comlongon for our weddding weekend over other venues. Photographs of the castle and grounds have now been spread all over South Wales, the USA and Australia! The only regret we have is that the experienceis now over, but our guests are constantly telling us that it was the best wedding that they had ever been to and probably will ever go to. We will never forget the amazing experience and would like to thank you for all the major part you played in what is a very important part of our lives.

Thanks again and the best for the future, all our love

Jennie and Wayne Morris XXX

16th August 2008.

Hi Dave,

we are back from our honeymoon and wanted to thank you for the part you played in our wedding at Comlongon. I must admit that I was worried about the Celtic Blessing and with the different vows that were made into cards, I was worried that it might sound a bit corney! In fact, a couple of the people who were doing the readings had a bit of a laugh when they read them, but they all were the same people who creid their eyes out after actually reading them in the ceremony because they said that the whole thing was so moving and that the readings completely suited the atmosphere. After talking to you before the ceremony, all my worries faded away, you made us feel completely at ease and I actually started to look forward to it.

I would recommend the Handfasting ceremony to anybody and felt, along with many of our guests, that it was far more meaningful than our wedding ceremony. All my guests said it was a lovely ceremony, in a lovely setting and were very impressed by the way you looked and the way you carried it out. They were all very interested in the history of it.

Again, we want to say thank you, thank you, thank you, we will never forget a perfect weekend at the perfect venue.

 Best wishes, all our love

Good morning

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for making my daughter and her new son-in-law`s wedding such a special day.

This wedding has been planned for and looked forward to for over a year and your kindness and professionalism made it a fairy tale to remember always.

We also booked Leigh Mitchell to help with the hair for the bridal party and she did a fantastic job running round the countryside doing hair in different locations to fit us all in. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to future clients.

Once again, thank you for a perfect day, the memory of which I will treasure always

 Kind regards

Dear Phillip,

I can not find enough words to express how we felt after my daughter`s amazing wedding at Comlongon on Friday 22nd August.

I arrived, a nervous and frantic wreck, but the cool professionalism of your team calmed and reassured me. Your staff are a credit to you-everything was tremendous. Your castle was the dream location and thanks to the team everything went like clockwork.

There was not one high point, but a whole day of them-one after another. Your pipers were exeptional and even managed to play "Hero, my nut brown maiden" when my daughter and her new husband emerged from the Keep after the ceremony. This tune is very special to us and although the pipers had not done it for years they managed it, and were superb- absolutely fantastic!!

The food was more than wonderful-everyone had nothing but praise for the Chef.

The Celtic Blessing was incredible- something no-one had ever seen before, and so moving.

The fireworks took all our guests by suprise and really "wowed" them. The band were marvelous (all the women fancied the lead singer..) and got almost everyone on the dance floor, the sword dancing was again something no-one had experienced before!

Everything was so wonderful, truly awesome, you all made it a very special and memorable wedding. In fact, Ruan`s great Aunty said that it was the best wedding she`d ever been to. I think we all felt the same!

You have a stunningly beautiful location and a brilliant team. I wish you all the best for the future and long may your success continue. My heartfelt thanks to you all.

  Yours most Sincerely

Hi,

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to all staff at Comlongon for the brilliant day we had, especially Rosemary and Carol who were both very helpful and made our day so special...

Everyone enjoyed themselves, the kids all thought they were living in a dreamworld, especially Isabel the Bridesmaid  who now thinks she is a proper princess!

The food was fabulous, everyone who stayed up late enough loved the band, we all had great fun!! and the fireworks were brilliant, shame none had their cameras handy for that.

But again thank you to everyone who was involved in making it a fantastic day.

Dear Comlongon Castle Staff,

We just wanted to thank you for arranging our wedding on 24th June. Everything was so co-ordinated and went so smoothly thanks to all your efforts behind the scenes.

Our guests havn`t stopped talking about it and they all agree that it was the best wedding they`ve ever been to. The atmosphere was exactly what we`d hoped for; relaxed, friendly and informal, and even the rain abated for long enough to allow us to have the ceremony outdoors!

Special thanks to Denise and Neil for their fantastic organisation, and also the chef (name unknown) for a truly delicious meal. But you all deserve a pat on the back for making it such a wonderful day for us.

Best regards

Thanks again to Neil, Rosemary, Ann, Lisa and the young lady that has the favourite picture in the banqueting hall, she wil know! Anyone else that we have forgotten as we are still on cloud nine!

To All at Comlongon Castle

We just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU for making our wedding on Friday 23rd May 08 so perfect and special. Everybody who came had nothing but good things to say about everything, from the staff to the food. A particular thanks to Neil who made us feel totally relaxed & kept us informed exactly what we needed to do next. Also a big thank you to the band who we feel made the night and we loved every minute, especially the Scottish Dancing. I have put a review on Trip Advisor with 5 *`s.

Thank you again for helping us have the most perfect and stress free wedding day!

Laura and the staff of Comlongon Castle

We wanted to write you to express our heartfelt gratitude for making our wedding day more entertaining and memorable than we could have ever imagined. It was everything we hoped for and so much more. From the moment we arrived we were taken aback by the beautiful scenic views, the perfectly manicured lawns, and the inviting atmosphere. The staff was beyond professional in their organization and thoroughness. All those associated with the castle from the minister to the piper to the photographer provided top-shelf service. Special thanks to the kitchen staff for preparing what was arguably some of the best meals we have ever had. Compared to the stress, fatigue, and the complexity of organizing a typical wedding this experience has been simple, relaxing, and rewarding. I would recommend Comlongon Castle to anyone who wants to have the wedding of their dreams in a picturesque Scottish castle with very little stress. Please accept this note of thanks as a small gesture on behalf of my husband and I and our guests.

Sincerely,Matt and Erin Thompson

Dear Phil and Staff

Sorry for taking so long in writing to you but we have been busy since our wedding on the 8th February.

We would like to say how much we enjoyed our wedding at the Castle. The staff and everyone involved at the Castle made us feel very welcome and we had a lovely weekend.

The meals at the reception were marvelous and our guests have all commented on how they enjoyed the day from the ceremony in the wonderful location, the meals, especially the band and the fireworks.

We had a wedding that people are still talking about and will for quite a while.

Once again thank you for a wonderful wedding and hope to see you again maybe next year on our 1st anniversary.

Best wishes to all at Comlongon

Bob and Lynne Humble 8th February 2008

Dear staff at Comlongon

I have heard over the years how weddings can be both stressful and demanding. Having never been through this before I did not know what to expect but can definitely assure you that both ourselves and our guests had the most perfect day.

You not only provided us with the most beautiful surroundings, mouthwatering food and the fine rooms, but you all made the day so smooth and stress free!! Everything down to the last detail was planned to perfection!

I know you are practised experts at arranging these events, but wanted to take the chance to thank you all for making our day so special.

Kind regards

Mrs Rockley

Dear Comlongon,

I am sure that after every event staged at your enchanted castle you must be inundated with letters, e-mails and calls from everyone privileged to have undergone the Comlongon experience. Forgive then, this yet another to add to your list of commendations.

This unforgettable experience will live with myself and family for all of our days. Your web site is absolutely marvellous and contains so much magical information that it almost seems too good to be true. The reality, however exceeds every expectation. It really is almost impossible to single out any one of the many events that make up this wonderfully diverse experience. I would have not wanted to miss any moment of everything that was organised.

I must add a special reference to The Celtic Blessing, which we had never heard of before our daughters special day. It was wonderful, and I would advise any couple to add this to their itinerary, it really should not be missed.

At the reception, several of our guests used the adjectives magical, fairy tale and enchanted. It was all this and more.....

A million thanks to everyone of you, the custodians of this amazing place. All the food throughout the day was great, with an extra special tribute to the reception meal which was utterly fantastic.

I must add additional thanks to the bovine guests also who wander in the background so respledently. I hope I have his name correctly, but Rodney now has pride of place every time I turn on my computer.

Many, many thanks again for all your amazing efforts, and we look forward to making a return visit in the near future

Regards

Jennifer & Stephen Smith

Dear Comlongon Castle,

Just a `wee` note to say how grateful we are for all your hard work and wonderful efforts for our wedding on Sunday last.

Dapinder and I have now spoken to most of our guests and they have all exclaimed that your wonderful venue is the most magical place we have certainly ever been to and to add to that the incredible servive and exquisite food... frankly I`m sure this letter will be one of many but should like to say you have all the elements of perfection.

On a personal note, Dapinder and I had for a long time dreaded the preperations of the `western` wedding because we realised that the meeting of two cultures and the likely complexities that can bring was going to be very difficult for us to plan around. The fact is that we learned very quickly, `venue is everything`. Once we turned into the driveway of Comlongon Castle and we were kindly acknowledged by locals walking their dogs and staff members leaving in their vehicles who all so genuinely illustrated a real pleasure to see a newcomer, smiling and waving, we immediately felt this was our venue.

Indeed we were treated with such warmth and kindness all throughout that first day and onwards. This is so rare in this day and age as the older members of our clan keep telling us, it`s like going back in time. The wonderful Celtic Blessing marked that.

We could never thank you all at Comlongon enough for an absolutely wonderful day and stress free run up to it because of Lisa`s brilliant organisation and patience! And Ali`s tireless running up and down, always with a smile. Alex is a real star, and Steve, you really made the best meal anyone could`ve wished for. Our sincerest thanks to all those we`ve not mentioned-we are very grateful to each of you.

Finally, Phil & Wendy-we have said on so many occasions how that there is an indescribable warmth and magic oozing from Comlongon Castle. Of course, the log fires and bueatiful furnishings and decor helps a lot (!) but all that notwithstanding, it is clear that tremendous hard work & dedication has gone into it all.

We realise you will be awash with letters and notes of thanks and commendations but we hope we can simply say that from two people who really needed their special event to be special enough to mark what has at times been a difficult journey, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for providing the best day any dream could have wished for.

With many thanks again & happy memories

Dear all at Comlongon

We apologise we havn`t had the opportunity to contact yet but we wanted to pass on our thanks to all of you for our wonderful wedding on 16th Feb at your beautiful Castle. From the moment we arrived on Friday until Sunday when we departed it felt like we were a part of the large family that you have there. We cannot get over the beautiful atmosphere on the day of our wedding in the Castle nor the warmth from all of you throughout the weekend. Also the food for our banquet was fantastic to say the least, none of the guest`s can get over not only the choice but the quality of the food they had. We particularly wanted to thank certain staff who genuinely made our wedding and our weekend, unforgettable, those are Ali as she worked at the bar on the evenings and was like part of the family-she couldn`t have been more kind and helpful. Carol who served at the bar but also appeared serving breakfasts, always smiling and helpful, the hosekeepers who came to our suite in the mornings who gave us a real feeling that they had shared our happiness and last but certainly by no means least is Alex who was master of ceremonies, he gave a wonderful air of grandeur to it all but was the most helpful approachable person we could have wished to share our day with-even managing to get us a fiddler booked to play alongside the guitarist in the bar after a request from us at 5.30 pm on the day of the wedding, some impressive feat.

Our family and friends are still talking about how special and unusual our wedding was and entertaining tales are still coming from different guests. I know many have already suggested the location to other friends or family of their own as a wonderful place to have their special day. We certainly shall not stop singing the praises of your wonderful Castle but only made even more special by the warm friendly staff that are there,

Hello Everyone

We had the pleasure of holding our wedding with you on Valentines Day (Paul and Jayne) we wanted to say thankyou so much for giving us such wonderful memories, you gave us a wedding which will stay with us for a lifetime and that is a wonderful thing to give to someone. Our day was way above what we had wanted and that is all down to the wonderful way you treat the brides and grooms who are fortunate enough to have chosen Comlongon for their wedding. Thankyou so much and we hope to see you for our first anniversary.....love to you all,

Mr and Mrs Paul and Jayne Atkins February 14th 2008

Dear all

We would like to thank you all for your hard work and effort put into making our wedding day such a lovely and special occasion. When picking a venue we considered many different options, but your castle and its band of happy helpful staff stood heads and shoulders above the rest. I have to say the fireworks were the perfect end to a great day.

I was going to say I would have no hesitation recommending you to other`s but the truth is I have already done so and I hope they choose your castle for their special day.

Thank you so much

To all the Staff at Comlongon Castle,

Just a quick note to say a big "Thank You" to you all for making our wedding so special on Monday 21st January 2008. We all felt so relaxed and enjoyed every moment of it. The hospitality, food and accomodation was above and beyond our expectations and the warmth and friendlyness that you all gave made everything go so well. An extra bonus for us was the following day when we were able to spend so much time around the grounds and the castle itself absorbing the surroundings of such a beautiful place. Once again thank you all so much,

Best wishes Brenda and Alan Clarke

The food that was served was absolutely delicious, and has been remarked on by everyone who attended. The Castle was "ours" for the weekend as everyone made us feel like it was our home. Please have a wee dram on us, and from both of us we cannot praise all of you enough for making our weekend so special. All the very best to you all,

We wanted to send you a note to say thank you so much for our wonderful wedding day. You achieve a fabulous balance of how to make a wedding day flow seamlessly through meticulous organisation-while also making us feel that our wedding was unique and special and that you had all the time and energy in the world to give us. Our guests were blown away by their accomodation, the venue, the food and the atmosphere, we had loads of comments about how awesome the fireworks (and the setting for them) were. Thanks in particular to Neil who was brilliant. We really couldn`t have dreamed it any better. Thank you so much

Dear Sirs,

I would like to thank you most sincerely for all you did to make our daughters Jenny`s wedding such a sucess on Saturday. She and her husband Steve had a wonderful day, as did all our guests. Nothing was too much trouble for your staff and everything was done with a smile.

The wedding ceremony itself was charming, and the Minister made everyone so very welcome.

The banquet was much commended, and the reception hall was a splendid sight it literally felt like it was our "castle" for the day.

We couldn`t have asked for better-so very much appreciated.

Grateful thanks to you all

To the staff of Comlongon Castle

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all! I had the pleasure of visiting there on September 14th 2007 for the wedding of my niece. I want you to know what a wonderful venue your castle is. Our stay there was memorable and will be spoken about for years. The accomodations were excellent and the food was not only great but presented so well. The wedding was so well orchestrated and things moved so smoothly that we didn`t realise we were being organised. As I rise earlier than most people, it was so nice of you to bring me tea to the terrace without my feeling I was putting you out. I really appreciated that. I was able to enjoy my quiet time before everyone woke up. I would love to come back some day for a little R and R. All my friends in Oldham were most impressed with such a beautiful and serene place. I told Mary and Keith they would have to renew their vows next year so we can all come back.

Best regards to you all, Kathie Hartly.

Dear Castle Staff

We would like to express our appreciation to you all for doing an outstanding job on our wedding at Comlongon Castle on September 11th 2007. Tiffani and I were treated like Royalty and you made our wedding feel like a fairy tale come true. It was a perfect day made possible by the Castle Staff. Our family and friends can not stop talking about the wedding venue and how lovely it was at Comlongon castle.

Again, thank you for making our day a day to remember forever. We wish all of you the very best

Myself, my bridesmaids and my parents stayed the night before the wedding and everybody went out of their way to make us so welcome and this was just the start of how fantastic our stay was to be.

All the staff had a personal approach to all our wedding guests and our family and friends have said how wonderful everybody was and how beautiful the Castle and grounds are kept.

To all at Comlongon Castle

Having just arrived back from our Honeymoon following our wedding on Wednesday 8th August we thought we`d just drop you a line.

Our wedding day was absolutely fantastic and we had a truly amazing time. Everyone was so helpful and friendly and even though you must do many weddings each year we and all our guests felt very special and well looked after.

Lisa, Ann and Billy especially made our day truly perfect. Lisa coordinating on the day and bringing sandwiches up to my room (knowing that I wouldn`t come down after having my hair done!)

Ann initailly showing us around the Keep and the Castle grounds (and being patient when we spent ages choosing rooms for ourselves and our guests), Billy for all the special touches during the Banquet.

Our day really couldn`t have been anymore perfect and we thank you for that. Comlongon Castle is a really special place to us forever. Our only wish is that we could do it all again!!

We wish you all the best

Dear Sir,

We are writing to express our thanks to all at Comlongon Castle for making our wedding day so special. All our guests and ourselves were delighted at the standard of accommodation and excellent food.

The service and the presentation of all meals was exceptional and a credit to your chefs and staff.

Our particular thanks to Phil for his time showing us around the keep and explaining Comlongons history. Also many thanks to the kind young man who served our banquet and who also helped our son to his room after a few too many!

We will not hesitate in recommending Comlongon to others.

Many thanks Mr and Mrs Ormerod

To Phil and Staff,

A huge thank you to everyone for making our day so magical. Ann for the organising beforehand, Neil for finding my ear-ring and everyone else for their thoughtful service and attention to detail throughout the whole day. All the staff did you proud. We really felt special especially as Mike`s broken leg played a big part in having to relocate the ceremony from the Great Hall. Everyone had a lovely time and were totally overawed by the setting, food (excellent!) and the overall ambience of the Castle. We hope to come back and wear our wedding tog`s again next year and have photo`s in the Keep!

Thank you all so very much

Love Sheila and Mike Houston

Dear Phil

Peter and I would like to say a big thank you to you and your staff for our amazing wedding at Comlongon on June 7th 2007.

It was the fairytale wedding we had wished for in every single way. From the moment we arrived on the Friday til leaving on the Sunday the service was first class. We were treated like royalty. Comlongon Castle is a beautiful setting and I`m glad we picked it for our wedding. Particular thanks to Brian for the Doves, Billy, Neil and Lisa.

All our guests have commented on how much they enjoyed the whole day. In fact a lot of them said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Its certainly the best one I have ever been to.I think it will be a talking point for several years to come! The food was fantastic both days-compliments to the chefs.

The band was brilliant! I am so glad we took your advice and didn`t opt for a disco-they got everyone up dancing, a fantastic evening. I honestly can`t think of a single criticism for the whole weekend. Even the weather was perfect. I would definately recommend Comlongon Castle to anyone and especially coming for two days. Many thanks Phil, we will see you again,

To all at Comlongon

If we were to write a list of everything that we had enjoyed about our wedding day we would just be repeating the timetable you gave to our guests. Everything was perfect-better than we could have ever wished for!

Ann and staff should be very proud of themselves. So professional, friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing, the grounds gorgeous, entertainment fabulous....the list goes on.

Thank you all so much

To all at Comlongon,

We would like to say a great big thank you to all involved in making our wedding day so very special. We feel that these simple words do not express enough on how we felt on our special day. We believe we lived the dream for one very special and momentous day and this will stay with us forever

Dear Phil and staff,

Writing just one or two lines about the time we`ve had here wouldn`t do this place justice. From the moment we walked in we seemed to have collected friends. To write that the staff were a class above would be an insult to the way that everyone has welcomed and treated us. We feel that not only have our guests enjoyed the place but we have been welcomed into the lives of everyone here. There`s no point saying what a stunning place this is because if you are reading this guest book you`ll see it for yourselves.

What makes this place truly special are the people. Neil, Jo,Lisa,Wendy etc-everyone may your lives be as blessed as you have made ours, all of you are a credit to the industry and must make Phil incredibly proud.

Neil and Gay Dudley
